Deryl Dale has a new CD out, “An Old Daydream”, and we’re planning to celebrate Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 7-9pm at The FAR Center for Contemporary Arts. There will be food, beverages, a short talk about the CD project, some new music videos from the CD, and video of Deryl and Friends performing at the Rose Fire Bay in 1994! And, of course, there will be Deryl to meet and greet! Feel free to share this post.

It’s 2022. August 9. Said good-bye to John Jeffries on August 3rd. He sings and plays guitar in Heaven now.

Uh, no really good excuse for not updating, except we’ve been too darned busy to update! Lots of projects going on, one with BloomingSongs.

We’ve recorded original compositions for a new Blooming Songs release, 2 small ensemble piece, and one new song from Anna Wrasse

We celebrated Deryl Dale’s latest release from Wisconsin Cheese Studios tonight at the Player’s Pub in Bloomington, IN.  We had a great time, nice seeing everyone there!  Be sure to check out Deryl’s “Growing up and other difficulties”

Deryl Dale is a singer songwriter in Bloomington, Indiana. He has a sizeable amount of songs from the early 90’s that have never been published. Some of these songs are just Deryl and his guitar on the front porch. They are raw, yet strong performances that showcase the depth of Deryl’s musical storytelling.

Other songs from this extremely productive time in Deryl’s musical career have been embellished with newly recorded instrumental arrangements, and some of these songs have even been completely re-recorded by a musical team that share Deryl’s vision.

This CD project, “Growing up, and other difficulties” fulfills Deryl’s dream, to bring these songs into the light, to get them out to the public to be enjoyed. Deryl is currently not able to bring these songs to the public, as he has been struggling with the debilitating effects of Parkinson’s for the past 7 years.

Anna loves to tell stories through music and has been performing and recording her own songs since age thirteen. In both January and February of 2018 Anna was recognized as “One to Watch” by Nashville Songwriting Association International. “To You” is Anna’s first full-length CD.
